More Bigger Projects...
Keeping with my theme of "too many projects on the go at one time" I have added another one.
I'm about half way through construction on these guys. Going to leave most of the Armor plates off for easier painting. So far the legs are pretty much done. Trying to decide on how much I'm going to magnetize for flexibility and transportability. I know I'm only half way through assembly, but already have too many color schemes bouncing around my head.
I really need to start cutting down on projects...
More Base Work
I'm starting to experiment with some different basing techniques and see what the out come is after all the priming and painting is done. On these I've used cork, crushed walnut shells, crushed shell, old GW resin basing pieces and some Vallejo Rough Grey Pumice. I think if there was a kitchen sink available I would have thrown that in too.
Now to get some primer on these guys and some Paint.

Rogue Trader 8th Edition?
So, along with many many other started and in progress projects, I've decided to dust off more 10,000 year old Rogue Trader Traitor Marines to get started on. With the new Thousand Sons having access to lots of flamers, I thought a whole unit of them would work, and look cool.
These have the lower bodies of old Tzeentch Flamers, even the champion's power fist will actually be somewhat useful now. The old descriptions of Flamers have them bounding around on their flaming fungus bodies, so I have tried to mimic that with raising them off the base a little with posts.
I'm also trying out some new basing methods with these guys. They are on 32mm laser cut mdf basses with cork that I am going to carve some more detail into. I added some old GW resin basing pieces that I will try to blend into the rest of the base with some sand and paste.

Now to let the glue dry and start another project......
